Touchscreen going haywire?

    It's only when it's on a wall outlet charger. Screen is fine on the car charger and off a charger. I'm also getting some screeching and whistling. What the heck?

    The wall outlet issue has been reported before, especially with third-party wall chargers. I had read something before about being able to mitigate this by holding the back of the phone with the same hand being used to touch the screen, but I'm not certain of the success rate with that.

    Yea, it's a def known issue with non oem chargers.

    Indeed. It's a pain if you are using the desk mount/DROID as your alarm clock on your night table, and you want to change the alarm or something. Goes all nutty. I just unplug it from the back momentarily if I need to make a quick change. Doesn't do it if not plugged in.

    Yeah I always hold it with the same hand I'm using on the screen. No dice. I'm getting a new(ish) phone b/c they say my speaker is going. *shrug* here's to hoping this issue isn't duplicated.
