I have an LG Lucid.Rooted it,now it's stock.TP is on CM9 Classicnerd 4.0.5.None of the wifi tether apps keep it connected all the time.Every other electronics with wifi in the house can see the Lucid Tether.Any suggestions would help.Thanks.

Settings... about tablet might give you a date. If it's older than July 7, I'd update to the latest version since there's been changes to wifi and battery life should be improved.

A lot of things changed two months on this device.

You shouldn't have to wipe data, just make a backup in recovery, wipe both caches, and flash the rom. You'll probably also need to flash the recommended version of Google apps.

[ROM] [Classicnerd ICS] Butta HD [6-05-12] [kernel OC 1.512] - xda-developers

First of all, that's a June build... kind of old. They might have updated wifi, but not sure.

Second, how did you flash? Rom Manager? Goo Manager? Manually via CWM or TWRP?

Sounds like it encountered an error and just rebooted. If it did flash, it would take several minutes, followed by a long bootup with updating apps.

Sounds like you need to flash it manually and watch for errors.

When you flash from cwm (or TWRP), the overall progress is displayed on the screen. You just have to read it. :D

So you went into cmw and wiped both caches and flashed the rom?

It can also be run from Rom Manager, but when it finishes, it exits cwm without giving you the opportunity to read the log.
