Nope only the power button. Until the phone can be rooted the joystick can't unlock the phone.

I cant wait until someone comes up with a way to make the button power it up. EVEN better if pressing it a second time will lock it. That would be awesome.

Id pay for that in the market actually (developers?) :)

The ergonomics of reaching to the top everytime isnt efficient, at least for me.

I don't want it to unlock it, just wake it up. What's weird is mine will sometimes.

I don't see why it would need to be rooted since Lockbot can wake the phone by the optical trackpad. I've had the app but got rid of it because it was kind of buggy. If someone would make an app that allowed you to wake the screen by a simple trackpad press I'd buy it. Hopefully soon...

I'm not sure if is want the optical trackpad to unlock my phone. I dont mind hitting the top of the phone.

To be honest, I barely use the trackpad. I'm not complaining that its there. I'd rather have it than not.

myLock's advanced mode does it rather well. it also utilizes side buttons. and its free.

there is a bug that makes me have to reset advanced mode on reboot, but im sure dev is working on it.

I feel like it's some kind of apple patent infringement for people be able to unlock with the trackpad. Only makes sense to enable something like that.
