The track pad on my Incredible seems to scroll and select items whenever it feels like it. Pressing on it seems to stop it but often it forces me to select whatever is highlighted to make it stop. Has anyone had this issue?

I searched but so much clutter I didn't find anything on the forum about it.

Clean the optical joystick (use a microfiber cloth, you can dampen it with a few drops of water or eyeglass cleaner if needed).

I had the same issue before on 2.1, right before 2.2 came out. I tried rebooting, didn't work. When the issue started, 2.2 came out that night. After install, problem went away. Maybe try a reset?

Yep, I had it happen recently. I thought I had a bad Rom flash or something. It was opening all my icons randomly and selecting menu options on it's own. I cleaned the trackpad and it went away.
