Hi

UPDATE: I got it figured out got it using APK Extractor and it transferred over pretty simple so now have it on my new phone and tab!! Glad to have the game back missed playing it!

------------------------------------------------

OK so I have this app on my old phone that I love to play just a word game but works offline and is fun.

Problem is google removed it from the store so it is no longer available to download.

Thing is the app still works fine on my old phone. Would like to move it to my new phone and also tablet. Is there a way to move just this one app over from the old phone to my newer android devices (Phone and tablet)???

Thanks!

Yes, it sucks when a loved app is removed without a trace from an appstore.

Sometimes you can find it in another appstore altogether.

Other times, you need to figure out another way.

Because I set up so many decices, I have recently tried a new (to me) method that seems to work great.

Put all the apps onto an SD card in apk format.
When you get a new device, put that SD card in it and install all the apps.
Sometimes there is compatibility issues, but at least you have the name of the app to search for a working version for the new device.

Glad you found APK Extracter.
Not sure if it is the same one that I use.

I just went through and selected what apps I wanted, then moved them to the card.

Another way is to upload the apks to cloud storage, and download them to the new device.

In fact, you can even send the apks directly to the new device if both are on the same Wi-Fi and both have NitroShare.

Thanks for that tip had not thought to move the APK to the SD card and being my tablet won't let me install apps on my SD card I need to use the 256GB for something and perfect way to save loved apps. Yeah I had it on my old phone but when I got my new phone last November I went to install the app and could no longer find it in the store. Glad I found a way to transfer it over to my new phone and tablet.

It's a simple word game but I like it as no ads and you can play it offline which is great when flying and such just adds one more thing you can do on long boring flights besides sleep HA HA
