I'm having trouble figuring out how to transfer files to and from my Nexus 7 (I'm trying to backup and restore the save data from a couple games). The problem is these files aren't in the sdcard folder, they're in the /data/data/ folder on the root of the Nexus 7. Does anyone know how to view the root of the Nexus 7 with Windows 7? Right now the only folders I can view and edit are Android, DCIM, Music, ect.

    Some possibly helpful information:
    Android Version: 4.2.2
    Build Number: JDQ39
    It is rooted.
    I have enabled Developer Mode.
    I have enabled USB Debugging.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

I mentioned above that it is rooted, and I do already have ES File Explorer installed. I'll definitely take a look at the link and make sure I didn't make any obvious mistakes.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to say thanks!

yeah you need a file manager like es file manager or root explorer which i like better. to copy and make changes to the system partitions you need to change permissions from r to r/w.

it would be easier to use titanium backup now that you are rooted. it will save your apps and its data as well.
