Im trying to figure out if there is an alternate way of transferring music files (3-10mb) other than plugging it in. Does the google thing let you sync?

I frequently just start up an ftp server on the phone temporarily to transfer a quick file or two.

Check out swiftp in the market, it's a very easy process.

SwiFTP is excellent. You just need to setup your phone on your home [wifi] network.

Also you can fire up bluetooth and transfer files to/from the phone. Just need to have BT on your computer and go through a couple of steps to setup the connection.

If you run Ubuntu on your computer, they have a music streaming service too, but it costs about $4 a month or $40 a year...

I use Astro & its SMB plugin. Can just browse/move files from any windows share on my network over WiFi.
