Help Transform will not turn on

I've had issues before with my Transform where when I turn it off, it takes forever to turn back on. It gets stuck on the blue Samsung screen for a long time, even a couple hours. I know a lot of people have this problem, but it works fine for me if I just never turn it off and keep it charged. But this morning I accidentally turned it off, and started to turn it back on and it stayed on the Samsung screen as usual, but it stayed like that for about 2 hours, then turned off. Now it won't turn back on at all. I'm going to try charging it when I get home, but if that doesn't work, I don't want to get it reset. I will if I absolutely have to but I hope someone can help me do something else.

Have you ever rooting or added a ROM to your phone?

Sorry, not sure what that means. But anyways, its all fixed now. Turns out the battery was dead, even though I'd just taken it off the charger less than an hour ago. But I think it used all of its battery power stuck on that Samsung screen. But anyways, I plugged it in, let it charge for a couple hours, then turned it on. It took a while as usual to reboot, but it finally came on and is working fine.
