Help Transformer able to connet to adhoc network?

Has anybody tried connecting a Transformer to an adhoc network? We couldn't get a Xoom to do it, and I have a Transformer on the way tonight. I wasn't sure if it was a Xoom or a Honeycomb limitation.

A stock TF will not connect to an adhoc network. It's a Honeycomb limitation. Using custom firmware, a rooted TF (and Xoom) can connect via adhoc.

Use wireless tether with the bluetooth option. I believe the version is 2.0.7. Your phone must be rooted to do this.

I've used my transformer with bluetooth to a DroidX, and it works fine.
