So I've got my N1 and transferred the SIM from my G1 just fine.

I've got an 8GB SD card in the G1 with lots of folders associated with a bunch of apps that are not yet on the N1. My question is whether I should get the apps for the N1 first and then bring the big SD card over, or whether I should plug in the SD card first and then get the apps, or whether it doesn't matter.

Any ideas? Reasons for the choices would be appreciated!

I just swapped mine from my mt3g to the n1 without any issues. I will go clean up the folders later, but all my pics and ringtones moved over fine (and show up in gallery)

I've got a new 16gb SDHC card coming and am not sure what the best way to swap my current one out for it? Should I just remove the stock 4GB one and copy the contents over to the 16GB and insert? Or is there some other way this should be done?

I would format the 16Gb via your computer and then copy over the contents and just insert. Thats just how id do it.
