tried prev sol but couldnt find gallery app in appljcations

    I have a problem with my gallery after opening gallery it automatically closes. I can't view images or videos I thought to restore my phone but that will delete all apps and data.
    i m not able to find gallery in applications so that i could clear cache. There are only two options downloaded apps and internal media storage gallery z not there
    Any idea to solve this issue

    QuickPic is good - I use it in place of any built-in gallery.

    Do you not have an "all" option in your app menu? That's where you should find the gallery app.

    Another vote for QuickPic. It is superior in every way to the stock Gallery app on my Venture (Gingerbread).

    Your stock Gallery may be listed under a generic unrelated name in the apps list...maybe something like "Android Image Service" or something. Clearing its data may not help; it could be crashing when it encounters and tries to thumbnail a corrupt photo.

    Restoring a phone isn't that bad of an idea if you want your stock gallery back.
    Google should auto restore all of your apps.
