Help Trouble switching between Wifi to 3G

I really love this phone. I got it 2 weeks ago and so far no big complaints.


I have LTE turn off using LTE On/Off app.
At work I connect to WiFi, When I go out away from WiFi, Phone doesn't automatically switches back to 3G. I have to restart my phone to connect back to 3G.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

If I can not automatically switch from WiFi to 3G, Is there any setting I can use to manually turn on 3G ?

It definitely shouldn't be doing that. I have no problem when I leave my house with my wifi turned on it drops the wifi but picks up 3g almost immediately. Are you running a stock device or rooted or what? I'll will give you a tip instead of turning your device on and off which kills your battery just switch it into airplane mode and then turn it back off that should restore the data connection without the hit to your battery life. You might want to try a factory reset and wipe data and cache to see if that fixes it. Sorry without more info its kinda hard to pinpoint the cause.

Thanks for the reply. It is not rooted. It's stock.
It is my first android device, I am still learning and reading a lot. Not yet ready to root the device.

Everything is cool except this Wifi to 3G issue.
I leave outside Wifi coverage and phone data goes dead. No wifi-no 3g.

That is strange. Have you tried doing the Airplane Mode MCPO117 suggested? Also you could try to toggle the radio on and off in the LTE OnOff app. Make sure you switch to CDMA auto PRL for 3G.
