    Hi,

Firstly hello. This looks like a fantastic forum.

    And now my problem...

When i click on the camera icon on my Desire it comes up with the message

"unable to save file to sd card due to insufficient file permissions"

Anyone have any ideas? Orange contract phone if that's any help.

Do you have media on your SD card that you are able to access ie photos or music?

Try backing up everything on your sd card and then reformatting it,apparently that fixes the problem.

Edit- Ive just done a quick search on google and do you ever use a adaptor with your micro sd card?
If you do it may be that you have locked the sd card card by moving the little slider on the side of sd adaptor.Just moving back may unlock the sd card???

    Thank you for the replies...

I have now solved this problem by turning the phone off and on again. I don't use an adapter so i'm not sure why this message came up.
