Troubles placing shotcuts on the homescreen.

I hope this is not just me. When I try to place a shortcut on my homescreen, there are certain spots on the screen that always give me problems. With Sence it throws the shortcut to the next available space, but with Moto it wants you to place it your self. Well you have to move it around until that green block appears. Some spots on the screen, I have to move it around for a while until I see the green block appears. Sorta frustrating. Anyone else has this?

I've placed several icons and I don't think I've noticed what your talking about. I've not had any problems doing it, is what I'm saying. You just have to get used to the idea of manually placing them where you want them I guess.
