    Hello everyone,

I am having issues with my touch 3g slide. I have yet to successfully root the device, after reading and watching videos on how to do it. I have my SDK and ADB softwares loaded.

I tried to update several different packages using the SD card, i continue to get a signature failure type message.

Now my phone is stuck in the start up screen. It will cycle on and off after loading only the Tmobile picture and vibrating once. I can only get into the standard recovery segment. I have access to fastboot and recovery.

I have tried using fastboot to load a recovery, radio, and boot image, only to be rejected because of signature stuff. I have tried using several guides out there to figure out a solution but i am stumped.

    Is my phone bricked?

More than likely it's not bricked. Try data wipe through stock recovery and you should be ok
