    I have a little problem...

The app storage on my GT540 is a bit short and I want to remove the Skype app.

However, whenever I try to uninstall ANY app (not just Skype) my phone reboots. To make it really interesting, when I look at any app, they show to be 0.00kb large...

Heck, I can't even upgrade my apps because my phone says I have too little memory. And I have at least 17MB free...

Its a stock 2.1 update version of Android that I just rooted for a WiFi tether app.

Can anyone help me here with my little problem? Or do I have to factory-reset my phone?

Since nothing works for you why dont you factory reset your phone, it'll remove all the apps u downloaded. Give it a try if no other method works.

And if the phone is rooted you can try out Apps2SD or Link2SD which will install apps on SD card so you can save some phone memory.
