Turn screen orientation in PDF Viewer?

I realize that the automatic screen orientation is an application thing in Android (not an OS thing as in Windows Mobile). One particular application where I found this missing is the PDF Viewer.
Is there an alternative or some trick to make it display docs in landscape view?
