My old phone, an LG Env Touch, worked great with my Kia via bluetooth. On volume level 15-20 I could hear the caller loud and clear over my speakers.

With my Razr, over bluetooth, I have to turn it up to volume level 25 and sometimes to max level of 30 and even sometimes then I still can't hear the caller.

Is there a way to turn the bluetooth volume up through the phone?

While you're on a call press the volume up button on the phone. That SHOULD increase the volume of your BT speakers also.
I know it works that way for streaming audio, I have to assume that it would apply to phone calls. But it will only work while you've got a call going.

Thank you thank you. It was at 75% volume. Turned it up to 100%. It's not perfect to where I like it but at least it's better now. I don't need to turn my car radio to max volume to hear the other caller.
