Turning the flashlight on/off

I find the double chop motion for turning on and of the flashlight to be very unreliable on my motog6. Is their some icon/program I can use whose execution will turn on the flashlight and whose exiting will turn off the flashlight, or something like that ?

Not sure how your device is setup but with a lot of phones you can turn it on via the pull-down options at the top of the screen. Once on with mine a notification appears allowing me to turn it off.

Jay's right. You can do this without unlocking the phone. Just turn on the screen and swipe the notification bar until you see the flashlight icon to turn it on or off.

Play store has many flashlight apps available.

You can always turn off that motion on the moto settings,
and just download any flash light for your device, or do "Okay google, flashlight on"
