When your phone no longer recognizes applications from the SD card:

This tutorial is constantly evolving. If you have suggestions, please PM me so that we can keep clutter in this thread to a minimum. What works for me might not work for you, so please keep your flames elsewhere and PM me if you have a problem. I might be able to help and I might not; I will do what I can.

    First Solution

This one comes from UKCatFan in this thread: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-m/304678-appz-not-loading-sd.html

    1. Remove Card

    2. Re-insert Card

    3. Reboot Phone

    Second Solution

This one is what I did when the first solution did not work.

    1. Backup your card on the PC.

    2. Right click on the card in My Computer (I do not know what drive letter your card will be)

    3. Select Format

    4. Uncheck Quick Format

    5. Format it (FAT32 should already be checked; FAT32 is not checked do not continue using this tutorial. I do not want to be responsible if you make a bad selection.)

    6. Copy the contents of the backup back onto the card.

    7. Power off your phone.

    8. Insert the freshly made card.

    9. Turn on the phone.

    If this doesn't work...

It seems that my problem is that one of my system files is corrupted. In this case, I will need to install the stock ROM or do a factory reset. I will write tutorials on what I do as I do it.
