I'm using the mini-HDMI to regular HDMI cable provided by Verizon (Moto branded). The phone usually goes into the "remote control" mode with the large play buttons, etc. when I'm in an image or video from the gallery. However, the TV never seems to know anything is connected. I've tried on 2 different TV's. The first would allow you to select the HDMI port, but just said "no signal." The 2nd TV I tried has to detect a source before it allows you to select that HDMI port. Again, the phone would go into the mode, but the TV never detected it, so I couldn't select the HDMI channel.

Any ideas? I also tried switching the HDMI-out setting between 480p, 720p, & auto. No change.

Otherwise loving my X. Great battery life, without the Moto widgets running. Otherwise super snappy, easy, and fun to use.
