I accidentally received two Incredibles from Verizon. They charged me for both and I'm wondering if I don't return it and just pay Verizon for it, if I can just give it to my friend and it will work. He is on Verizon already with a data plan, etc. He won't need a new contract just because I gave him a new phone or anything, right? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Nope there will be no problem just make sure it isnt activated on your line and if it is just unactivate it. I gave my GF one thats I bought from my account becaues I got the 2 year price and she couldnt so she just activated it on her account.

I'd be careful. If you got it for the 2 year contract price and you don't activate it on your account, they may then charge you the remainder of the retail price ($529.00). I think the phone is linked to the account.

    Can someone confirm this?

    Good Luck!!

Thanks Syv3n. Is there a quick/easy way to do a wipe of the phone so I can give it to him clean?
