Two questions - help please

Hi

Searched but couldn't find an answer to:

1. I have the pattern lock on and I receive a call, is there a way I can answer without having to unlock the screen?

2. The phone is set up with a googlemail.com account if I change this to a gmail.com account will this create problems? I seem to remember reading that this can mess up the phone and you have to reset the phone?

1. incoming calls should and are supposed to bypass the unlock screen.

2. Should not cause problems. there are some cases where people said this caused problems in the android market, if you get that problem just switch beack to googlemail or just create a new gmail account

If you change from googlemail to gmail the market wont work. Only fix is factory reset and use gmail when prompted for an acct.
