Root Twrp LG K7

You are posting in the wrong forum, please post all root related things into the "rooting" section.

This device comes bootloader locked, if youre going to post a version of twrp - please post how to unlock the bootloader aswell as how to flash it to the device. this is a very useless post im sorry to tell you.

contribution is one thing, but incomplete contribution is just nerveracking.

reader info: THIS IS THE BUTTON COMBO TWRP.

notes:
the v2 version has removed the "partition sd card" button out of the advanced menu, backup and restore now includes the EFS filesystem, aswell as TWRP OTG mounting added(not aware of working ability.)
reboot has the "download" option removed aswell < something to consider adding back but not necessary as most of us are ADB/fastboot ninja's.

flashing it after just using fastboot to boot to it.

choosing yes in the factory reset, twice - is a bit scary but it does indeed boot to a working recovery with no system wipe.

good job with this build of TWRP, aswell as removing that useless STOCK factory reset option. (which does not fix a system in which is debloated or not containing original LG apk files.)

my advice, scrap this post, and post it in the "rooting" section to keep this device's threads in order.
if you need a guideline on how to post these things, check the existing devices with all things root threads.
example: http://androidforums.com/forums/lg-tribute-ls660.3125/
-notice how the main forum doesnt contain any root/system modifying concepts, and the rooting section does.-
our device isn't popular enough to warrant us a moderator to help keep it clean so it's upto us to do so.

anything that requires root or modifies system files should be posted in the rooting section.

posting here makes things unorganized, aswell as harder for normal everyday users to find.
you should be including complete methods on how to perform these device modifications.
step by step procedures should be listed, and if it is already listed - it should be referenced to the proper thread. aswell as warnings such as data loss and possible device failure.

think of yourself as a new device owner.
"how in the hell am i to flash this file, i dont have root !" - link to a rooting thread/method.
flashing recovery requires the user to unlock their bootloader - which should be stated for those that have not done so.

please take a look at other device subforums. organization is key here at androidforums - otherwise its just jumbled garbage for other users.
flashing recovery requires the user to unlock their bootloader - which should be stated for those that have not done so.

your intentions are well, delivery needs a bit of work.
the video just shows proof you have a working twrp, not how to go about getting it on device. clean up your post please.

TO ALL USERS, flash this recovery at your own risk, IT IS NOT KNOWN WHAT IT MAY DO TO YOUR DEVICE.
certain functions have been removed and added, also unconfirmed as to if they function as of yet.
