Txt from speed dial list

    Anybody know how to txt directly from the speed dial list. A 'long' press does not give a txt (SMS) option

    Long press on the picture, there's an option to send a text.

    Um, it could be me being dumb; by speed dial, you didn't mean call list then?

    EDIT: I tried the usual options on speed dials, long press only offers "Call" or "Delete".

    Yeh, I did mean speed dial not the calls list. Thanks for confirming what I found, ie there is not an option to txt from the speed dial list.
    Maybe some clever person could produce a widget to do this.
