Root UD 2.4 and a couple apps

anyone having issues getting Voice Search and YouTube to update?

Just wondering if its due to the ROM or if my phone is just playing ****** again.

Tried to uninstall with TiBu but still won't update or install now, hhmmmm

Also tried to remove the APK with Super Manager. Removed from System/App.

any other ideas?

Here's what I did: Root Explorer, go to system/apps and delete (or rename) the YouTube and VoiceSearch .apks. REBOOT the phone, THEN go to the Market and download them. Easy Peasy

Well, I've removed the .apk for each app, youtube removed, still won't install/update.
the V.S. APK, I delete it and the app never stops working so... I don't know. it is what it is I guess

Did you reboot after deleting the .apk's? That's important

Starting to think that my issue is with the software I'm using to remove APKs. I remove them, reboot, try to install and it fails, and whats more.... the old app is still there.
I may be wrong here, but running an app on this phone without an APK is like trying to run an app on a PC without the .exe, right?

Try root explorer. It's the best for this type of thing.
