Unable to install any app.

I have a tablet with Android v4.0.4 installed. After logging in to my Google account and visiting Google Play, I'm unable to install any app as I get the message, "You don't have any devices... You haven't accessed the Google Play Store app (the white shopping bag icon) on your device with this email account." Well, yes, I did click on that icon, which brought up the apps page.

Now I am able to download Android apps to my PC from other sites, transfer them to my Internet tablet, and then install them from therein. But I'd rather be able to install them directly from Google Play. Can someone lend me a hand?

Was Play store on there by default, or did you have to install the apk manually?

When you access Play via a PC, can you see your device listed?

Also, what tablet is it?

What tablet do you have? Does it have the Google Play Store installed on it? If not, it's most likely not a Google-certified device.

On my phone there are two app required for Google Play
Google Play services
Google Play Store.
