Unable to locate apps under the app menu

I am trying to drag and drop some app icons onto my screen for quick access. When accessing my apps, it does not list the two apps that I want (flixster and ESPN score center). They are installed on my phone and I can open them if I type in the name in Gesture Search. I can also see them in settings > apps.

But it is nowhere to be found under my apps menu

Are you sure they aren't widgets? If so, those wouldn't typically show up in the app tray with the other apps. Depending on whether your stock, or using a 3rd party launched, you should likely be able to see a WIDGETS tab, and you can pick from there.
