Unable to make calls from within calendar

First off I want to say that I really like my new Eris but.... Coming from a BB there seems to be a problem that could make or break the deal.

I frequently enter phone numbers as a note in outlook calendar (temporary contact thing), with the BB I could pull up the calendar and make a call from the number within, but that doesn't seem to be the case with the Eris, I've tried everything, does anybody have any suggestions.

If you put the ph number in for where, it will allow you to dial from the calendar.

Thanks for your help, but I guess I don't understand. Typically I set up my Outlook calendar and then sync to the Eris, where would I put the phone # in outlook so it will come up on my phone calendar in a place that will allow me to call the # from the Eris calender?

I don't know where it would need to be in Outlook ... but when you edit an event on your phone, one of the fields is labeled "where" ... its where you type in the event location. Anything typed there will allow you to click on it and the phone will dial it
