Root Unable to restore G Apps in 1.6.3.3

Hi folks,

I am having problems restoring G Apps

I get the message Restore Started....Restore Aborted... and G Apps restore fails within 2-3 seconds

I tried all versions of recovery 4.6.4...4.6.3...4.6.2 But to no avail

1. I choose restore g apps and press ok
2. I get the message
- restoring google apps
- press home to continue or any other key to abort
3. I press the home key ( The raised key below the back key )
4. I get the message restore started and immediately get restore aborted...

Also get the message see/sdcard/recovery.log
E: can't open /sdcard/recovery.log

What could be wrong here folks

Help needed ... A brand new phone unable to boast of a galaxo

Hi Folks

Finally Managed to install G Apps
Used the SAMSUNG.tar in this link

http://www.yardimage.co.uk/files/i7500/galaxo 1.6.2/SAMSUNG.tar

Also before

Installed ADB Drivers again
Reflashed recovery 4.6.3
Put all the files in the internal SD card again
Followed the same steps...

And it worked
