OK...
I am a complete newbie when it comes to rooting and what not. I have tried all 3 major ways to root my Galaxy Tab P1000: z4root, SuperOneClick, and DooMLoRD v4. All of these failed in different ways...
z4root gets to 'Acquiring root shell', then it quits to my home screen and slows the device until i reboot.
SuperOneClick goes into 'Not Rsponding' and i have to end the task.
DooMLoRD can't seem to copy thing to or from the device at all.
Just to be annoying to you guys, a major factor to what method I use is the ability to un-root, as i want to remove bloatware and then restore it to stock.
My specs for all systems i am using:
Mac early '08 running Windows 7 Ultimate
Galaxy Tab P1000 running Gingerbread (2.3.3)

Not sure how, but I fixed it. I tried to run SuprOneClick 2.3.3 on a second PC, and it said it was already rooted?!?
