Help UnBranding

Hi
Am new to the forum. Just got an X10i from O2 in the UK.

Currently its running FW 1.6 and build R1FA016. Tried updating through WiFi and through SE Updator and it says there is no updates available.

Can someone please explain how I go about unbranding the handset so i too can benefit from software updates

Make sure you debrand to your correct firmware.

Is it only V1.6 thats available in the UK at the moment. 2.1/2.2 coming in Sept 2010??
