All credit to @REPAIRSHOPUSA for this unbrick method! (Their TUT here: http://www.repairshopusa.com/phone/lg-k7-k330-unbrick-method/)

Before reading ahead into the tutorial, please take the time to read the text in asterisks.

***With the bricked LG K330, I noticed (for me at least) when I try to boot into download mode via the power and up vol buttons, I do not actually ever get taken to download mode screen.
I do not know if the outcome is the same for everyone. But, although the same result came out of this method, what I did instead was

-use minimal ADB and fastboot program, download here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790

and I downloaded working ADB drivers from: http://www.mediafire.com/download/3abpb615gui103d/LGUnitedMobileDriver_S498MA22_WHQL_ML_Ver_2.2.exe

once the drivers were installed i opened minimal adb and fastboot and typed
"adb reboot download"
and although nothing came up on the screen the phone believed it was in download mode anyways***

1st off, you need to download LG K7 K330 Fix from this link: http://www.repairshopusa.com/downloads/LGK7K330FIX.zip

-uninstall any existing LG drivers (after you have put the device into download mode via adb if needed) and install the drivers supplied in this ZIP

2nd off, download and install both of the LGUP msi's in this zip: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0qkUQwUFq4cUDVyTjV4VUs3LXc/view

Third off, in the LGK7330FIX folder, install "LGUP_Lab_Frame_Ver_1_10" FIRST, then install "LGUP_K330"

After all of this has been completed, open up the LGUP program that should have been located to your desktop, and your device should already be there, labeled as Version K33010f, on STANDBY Progress.

next, uncheck and recheck the BIN File bar at the bottom right and three little dots (...) should have appeared on the gray bar.
choose the LGK330.dz located in the LGK7330FIX folder and click start.

your phone will boot into Firmware Update maybe a minute or so later, be patient as the Firmware Update step takes 5-10 minutes.
Don't panic when it looks like the tool jammed at 100% and your phone got stuck at 99%, it is just finalizing everything.
once it reboots, keep the program and your phone plugged in, until your phone loads the lockscreen. your phone is now unbricked & unrooted :)

this method is repeatable so experimenting with the K7 K330 may actually be in the picture now..

Hope this worked for you :)

Thank you for that I struggled for days trying to get this phone right after a botched attempt at swapping king user for SuperSU via SuperSU me. I went through many similar tutorials with now luck. Either LG-UP didn't recognize my device or the file i attempted to flash wouldnt work. I am more familiar with Samsung s series phones and Odin. One thing I was not able to use the file in the repair kit I assume because it is a .dz and not .kdz or .tot though I had a .kdz from another mirror and was able to flash successfully. Now Im going to do the exact same thing again except not botch the super user swap. Is there a way to convert a .dz to a .kdz?? I am a rookie so any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks again!

Ah jeez, I'm sorry I didn't get to you faster. I actually broke the internal screen on my LG K7 and haven't been on the forums in a bit. I'm not sure why this is happening, try running the program in a different compatibility mode or if you haven't already, use it as an admin. I did this on Windows 10 so it could also be that, not too sure.

I ended up using an unofficial .kdz that I found on the web..it worked and there is wifi calling now. I just received the update to 5.1.1 Kernal 3.10.49 build lmy47v so the image I have isn't any good anymore correct? I was on 5.0.0 and you cant flash backward anymore right? I have a galaxy s5 unfortunatly through att that cant be modded in anyway that i can find so its a $150 paperweight. This LG has been my test mule and my next step was to install xposed framework but im scared now because I have no way to restore. I read a few articles on xda about a twrp recovery but I havent had any success so far. Any guidance would be greatly appriciated
