    Guys

Can anyone help with this please? I got an S2 a few months ago from T-mobile and it was running on gingerbread, battery life was good, would last two days on standby if i didnt use it much. Then suddenly one day it started draining battery really quickly. I went away on holiday and took my phone with me and didnt have a charger so it turned itself off with zero battery for a few days. Came home, charged it up and it was still draining battery like nobodys business. I thought i'd try ande get to the bottom of it and i was removing apps, checking for viruses, turning data connections off etc. I have tried removing battery for 30 sec then putting back in, replacing battery with a brand new one, i have tried using diffrent charger, I even resorted to factory resetting the phone, it didnt work though. you name it and i've done it.

Eventually I upgraded the OS to ICS 4 via samsung kies as part of the ICS rollout, but battery was still being drained and I wasnt getting the 2 days I used to get on standby. I downloaded better battery stats to try and locate and understand the root cause of the battery drain. Below is the results, the phone is in deep sleep most of the time but still drains so much battery. have a look at the below stats, 35% battery drain in 6hrs 37 mins. is that normal? According to these stats battery would only last a total of 1134 mins or 18 hours. far from the 2 days i was previously getting.

Any ideas why it is doing this? Has anyone else got this problem?
