Help Unidentified icon

I can't figure out what this icon in the status bar is. I've tried searching, but haven't been able to turn anything up. Any help would be appreciated.

I assume if gps is off there would be no icon at all right? Could also mean gps signal unavailable?

GPS is on. No signal sounds plausible, I'll see if I can test that.

My thought was that if Location is enabled but GPS is not, then it might let you know.
