what does it mean unified daemon (EUR) has stopped

That is a process that controls news and other various widget “feeds”. It updates things like stock quotes, news, and other background information. It is a known data hog and you can safely force stop it and disable the app under settings >apps >all locate the app and disable it.
If you do not want it to be disabled you will need to go through all of your stock widgets under the same apps menu and clear the data for all those applications. This should resolve your crash.
