how do I uninstall an app from my Droid Eris, I used the search button and couldnt find anything
Easiest way is to go into the market and My Downloads select the app you want to remove and you will get an option to uninstall it.
As for stock apps that came with the phone, those can't be removed.
If it's one of the apps that was included with the phone, you can't. If it's an app that you've added you have a couple of choices.
1) Install an app that uninstalls apps - I have Quick Uninstaller.
2) Bring up your list of apps in the Market, click on the app, you'll have an 'uninstall' option.
There are probably more ways to remove apps, those are just ones that I know.
Edit: Dang, OTD is quick - I swear her message wasn't there when I started typing mine...
thx alot guys this was very helpful
Using the market, like the other two posters suggest is the best way. But, just to throw this out there, you can go to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, and click on the one you want to uninstall and there will be an uninstall option there also.
