    Hi,

I have a rooted Spica with Apps2SD enabled. I want to install the brut modded version of Google Maps ([APPMOD][07.11.10] Brut Google Maps 4.6.0.4686-brut17 - xda-developers). I uninstalled the Maps.apk file using Root Manager. But still the application is there in my phone. How do I uninstall the default one. I searched for the com.google.android.maps file but could not find.

Please let me know how to uninstall it. Thanks!

I fixed it by using Android Commander.

Such a fantastic tool. I used this is to uninstall fully and then went to the Manage application section and uninstalled there too. Now I have fully modded Google Maps that has Navigation capabilities in India.
