I have the lg optimus v and have had it for five months now. There's several apps that I haven't noticed before until about two weeks ago...
    Service Programu
    Com.lge.LgHiddenMenu
    Com.lge.hiddenmenu
    And com.lge.internal

I cannot force close any(only one even has the option) and I cannot uninstall. Every time I click back after looking at its permissions, it would disappear! I was told that this is normal but why is it all of a sudden popping up and they have every permission known to man?!?!?! And not to mention when I switch between "running apps" and "all apps" the list has already been automatically scrolled down even if I haven't touched it. They don't always show up, so if they aren't visible its not scrolled down...when they're there it is scrolled. Its like a giant mind game..I would understand if this didn't randomly start happening.

since I've had the phone I normally go through both "running" and "all" apps.. so a couple weeks ago when I was doing this I went through and uninstalled a few games and looked at my running apps. I saw an app called "Service Programu" and clicked on it. Its icon looks like a mans face with his hair covering his face, you can see his arm, and it has an aqua tinted effect. I thought nothing of it, hit the back button and it disappeared and I couldn't find it all.

Well, tonight, I was randomly going through my apps again and I saw the Service Programu app again so I clicked on it to read its permissions...it could do anything. Could create Bluetooth connections, receive extra location info, change audio settings, intercept outgoing calls, disable keylick, read phones state and identity, reorder running applications, change ui settings, and send sticky broadcasts and SOOOOO much more. Can't force close..hit the back button and it was gone again.

I went to "all apps" .. "com.lge.LgHiddenMenu" it had even more permissions like changing system files, access point name settings, adding and deleting files with full internet and location access, and even could control acess and change my syncs and accounts. Also can control the "flashlight" which I do not even have on my phone. It had way more permissions then that as well.

Those are LG system apps. They're from the manufacturer to basically control the phone. What are you even doing in the task manager lol.

Deleting apps I don't care for much anymore. That and my phones been having periods of lag recently and I guess I just noticed those or something. Just a strange coincidence lol

I'm not saying I understand everything about permissions, far from it, but if you yourself want the ability to do any of these things, then there has to be something on the device that can do it for you. That is, the things you want to achieve with your device usually happen after you have pressed a designated software button, without there being a service to respond to your button press then nothing would happen and it would be a useless device.

I have been getting a lot of strange activity on my phone as well, including weird active session locations from facebook. I started laughing when I read your description of the strange, blue, dude with dreads that appears as the icon for com.lge.internal. I'm not so convinced that that is normal - why oh why would android want to freak out people with a picture like that, and an app that appears and disappears when you go out and in? They wouldn't. I have other strange apps that weren't there before, and all signs are points to spyware/malware.

I'm going to keep on researching, but if anybody has some new information on this, please let me know. The original description fits it perfectly. Thanks!

Yes, because deleting system apps installed by the manufacturer is not a good way to brick the phone (insert sarcasm)
