I purchased my own Galaxy S4. I want to move it from Credo, where I have service, to a much less expensive provider.

Can someone tell me how this can be done?

Hello and welcome to the forums. Now this can happen if the new carrier has a sims card and it has gsm bands . may I ask where this carrier is located .

I use Credomobile now. I haven't decided who to go with but wish to keep the phones I bought.

All you need to know is the carrier and if the carrier is gsm if all match ask if they support bring your own device. BYOD. SOMETIMES carriers don't . but T-Mobile ,at&t and metro PCs plus a few others do
