I'm so happy for you! What a relief knowing your files are safe.
    You're welcome. :)
I'll be checking it, too. Having a definitive solution for future reference will be great.

I have a unlocked jp5 tablet and I would like to to add a Windows os as dual partition on it. How would u do this. I was thinking of putting a Windows emulator on it through the Bluetooth but I have been having trouble getting apps to work that I put on it through Bluetooth. Any advice you can give would be great blessing

I'd love to help, but you're asking the wrong person--I won't even touch window$. I only use Linux. Since you're using it, too (Android is a Linux), why bother with window$? :)

Honestly, I don't know if what you're asking is even possible and/or advisable, but hopefully someone who does will come along and offer some help.

it looks like it might just emulate android on top of android, maybe you cabn ask the developers for a windows os version

    No chance!

Well there's PC emulator apps for Android, like QEMM, but there's are really for retro stuff, like to run really old PC games on a phone or tablet, like Commander Keen from 1990 or something. And can be made to just about boot and run Windows 3.1 or 95, but that's really it.

Also from what I've read, I believe these JP5 tablets are actually a very modest spec, and were really just designed and intended as media players and email devices basically. I've never seen one myself of course.

Welcome to Android Forums, Steven B Wells!
You're really the only one who can answer that. :)
I don't know of anyone who's done it and posts here regularly.

If you find the tablet useful and it meets your needs, it may be worth the fee to have it unlocked so you can continue using it. Just keep in mind that it's a limited, older device--and low-end phones or tablets, with much better hardware and capabilities, may be available for a reasonable price instead.
