i bought a wildfire from a vodafone store. i realized that it was locked on their network. Solved that problem, i went to a mobile store a they have unlocked it for me. Now, my questionis: at this point is my phone unbranded or unlock? how can i tell?what to look for? I mention that i can use no matter what carrier.

When you switch the phone on if you have vodafone logo when it boots up its branded. However if you put another simcard in it (like o2) and it excepts it then its unlocked.

So, it means that my phone is unbranded and unlocked. Can I enjoy the new froyo as soon as it will be available for "factory unlocked" devices?
