Depends what you paid for it. Did you buy it new? Droid's are going pretty cheap on craigslist, ebay too.

It could be impossible but I still can sell it for whatever I paid for it it's not under contract so at least I'll get the money back.

If you paid full price for it there is no way you will get your money back. Half of it is probably the most you will get

Actually didn't pay whole price and got it on ebay and it was brand new when I got it I've seen other droids used ones that cost more lol

There's actually a metro pcs franchise by my workplace with a droid on its used phones shelf that they say is flashed to work on metro pcs with limited usage. They say its usable to make calls and texts but it can't use the internet as metro doesn't have 3G coverage.

thanks for the reply here where we live we have metro pcs but it will defeat the purpose of having a droid dead as no internet connections... I think I have to root it lol

Yeah I don't know the full specs of what they did and if I have a chance today I'm going to swing by there and check if they still have it and see what all it can do because now I'm interested in how they do it. I'm also interested to see if it still says verizon wireless on the lock screen and pulldown lol.

You *can* hack/re flash a CDMA for other CDMA carriers, just need the tools to do it. I know Cricket allows any phone on it's nework.

lol I gave one razor to my cousin she took it to metro and still said verizon haha do you have a messanger?

yeah I know about cricket it also has a 3 g network but it service is limited I live in central cali and most people don't really like it
