Probably a dumb question, but I'm genuinely curious enough to ask. Is there such a thing as an unlocked CDMA phone like the unlocked international versions of GSM phones you see all the time? I know GSM is more of the world standard, but I didn't know if anyone else used CDMA outside North America.

Like I said, just curious because you never know unless you ask. Thanks!

I think Amazon and a few of the internet vendors might have unlocked CDMA. However, before you can use it, you have to take it to your carrier of choice to get it on their network. I'd also check to see if the carrier would allow the phone. GSM - just change your SIM.
