Well, I am using an unlocked Inspire in Honduras. I got it last friday, used it the whole saturday and that night I made the upgrade. After getting GB, I lost my APN configuration, so I had to set it up again to have data. With phonecalls and SMS I had no problem.

Go to settings - wireless and networks - mobile networks - access point names. Check if there is a setted APN there. If not, you have to add it (menu - new APN). If you don't know the settings, call your service provider. I hope that works.

I registered just so I could say thanks to the previous poster for the suggestion about needing to add an APN.

I have an HTC Intruder originally made for AT&T, a spare given to me by my son because he didn't need it anymore, but I'm on T-Mobile. I'd put my SIM card in and was able to call out and do SMS but couldn't connect to the internet. So I searched online for help and found this forum and the suggestion to add the APN settings. I didn't want to deal with calling my provider for settings, so I searched again and found some good generic APN settings on another website. Of course YMMV, I can't guarantee these will work for you or anything, this is just something I found online that worked for me and I don't know much else about it. Obviously these are for US users, but I did see some for other countries in forums as well, so if you're from somewhere else, try searching for your particular settings online if you don't want to deal with phone reps either. Good luck!
