Unlocked Version , When ?

was planning to get a desire , until this baby comes out , and indeed is incredible
but when will the unlocked version for europe comes out ? i hope not 3 months after like the Droid ,
the incredible looks better , better camera , almost everything better than the desire , and its everything i've waited for , i really hope that an unlocked version will follow soon

I don't think it will be. The Incredible is CDMA and with the Desire being already made by HTC and pretty close spec-wise to the Incredible, I don't see them going through the trouble of making this phone GSM compatible.

I'll admit I'm chomping at the bit for the Incredible in the hope it'll be released down under, but as you point out, given the similarities between the Desire & Incredible it's not looking likely.

Which is frustrating, as I really like the little extras on the Incredible, but will live with those on the Desire though.
