Help Unresponsive Screen

Well as the title says it my samsung s3 touch screen wont work it turns on normal the buttons and the back and menu touch buttons on the bottom work but will not work the screen was broken but i sent it to fix it amd its all new another thing it sometimes works but when its very cold i put it in the fridge for a bit amd it worked somehow but after a few minutes its stop working i already reboot it a dozen of times, erased all memory, and even tried to clean the inside for anything bad so please i want to know all options before buying another screen its not even old

When you got it repaired, did they replace the WHOLE display unit or just the glass?
Sounds like the digitizer is damaged. Thats the layer between the glass and the display that detects touch. It was probably the person who repaired it that broke it :thumbup:

Well i suppose the whole screen the thing is it wasnt mine up till now it was my aunt but used more that 300 dollars to fix it so i suppose the whole display

Yeah it must have been the whole thing. Was it a proper samsung repair centre or just some random place?
Problems with the screen are kinda hard to diagnose. Im hoping it was a certified repair place? You can replace the digitizer but i think its quite an awkward messy job. Not something id like to attempt anyway

Well it would be a waste if i just throw away the one it has now since its supposed to be new and i got no momey for another one also i know i can fix it well i think i guess there is no harm in trying i already opened completly to the motherboard to see if it had something inside, didnt seem to have anything but i cleaned it everywhere nust incase also there are some yellow like clips dont know how to call them dont know if they are supposed to make contact to the motherboard or the case since the plastic have some square metal in it, like i said i want to try everything before buying another and from what i think it was a random place whe it got fixed
