How do I get the touch screen to work on zte whirl?
That's the kind of question that can't be answered on a forum. "How can I get the cable from the touch screen plugged back into the motherboard" can. But you're not giving us the problem you need solved, you're giving us one symptom of tht problem.
Someone has to have the phone in his hand and figure out WHY the touchscreen isn't working. Bad touchscreen? Bad cable? Disconnected cable? Blown interface on the motherboard? Something else?
Cheapest way to get it fixed? Bring it in to a good repair shop and ask for an estimate. (You could replace the screen yourself, but even assuming you didn't break anything while you were doing it - which is what usually happens - if it's a bad motherboard you went through all the expense and trouble for nothing.)
