I've run into an interesting problem. I need to return my phone to stock, unrooted condition. I know full well how to do this. I need to get back to original state because i have to take my phone to the service center to repair a faulty power button. This is my problem: I can't flash anything in recovery because the power button won't work. It works when I need to press it for a quick second to turn my phone ON, but in recovery or even just during regular use (turning screen on and off,) it won't work. Is there any way to control the phone during recovery mode from my pc, or am I sort of ****ed?

Here's a thought, maybe Quick Boot will help your problem. It's in the market to download.

Did you have s-off prior to unrooting? If so you need to some how flash the s-on tool prior to unrooting or else that's a dead give a way you were rooted.

I was able to get S-on before I took it in, thankfully.
