Root Unrooting

    I need help unrooting. I tried the directions in the sticky, but RSD Lite says failed flashing process.

    Forget what RSDLite said - did you phone reboot on its own?

    Which file did you use? Where did you get it from?

    No it didnt. Im going by the insructions in the sticky so all my files came from there

    There are 3 different SBF files - which one did you use?

    Try again with an older one - that 2.1 file has given a few people some trouble.

    Also, there is a newer version of RSDLite (4.7) on Peter Alfonso - you can find the SBF files there as well.

    Thanks, I got the new version of RSD and it seems to be working.

    Holy crap! It took me back to 2.1 and the wallpaper I had a LONG time ago. Did it work right?

    yea thats probably the wallpaper you used the last time you were on stock 2.1

    the first time I used an sbf to go back to 2.0.1 all the apps that I had installed when I was last on 2.0.1 came back. And they were the exact versions of the apps that I had back then. So they were really old and outdated versions of apps. It was strange.

    The apps dont matter to me because Im taking my phone in for replacement. Stupid proximity sensor.
